ABOUT
Lauren Cohen
Lauren Cohen has over 12 years of experience as an occupational therapist, working in both hospital and home care settings. While assisting with discharge planning for her patients, it was made clear that although returning home was often the top choice, many homes were not properly equipped for safe, independent living. It became a passion of hers to find solutions to help people live at home as independently as possible.
LiveWell Modifications uses a holistic approach in understanding the physical and cognitive needs of the aging population and those living with disabilities. They guide people through the seemingly easy, yet often complicated choice of remaining at home. They are committed to providing clients with solutions that maintain a safe living environment.

Lauren has been designated as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) since 2014. Lauren has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Maryland and a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University. She is a proud member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and the Home Modification Occupational Therapy Alliance (HMOTA).
